I wanted to try the Sephora Formula X for a while. I heard so many good things about it. One of the point that really sold me was people talking about how long it was lasting on their nails and I have a real problem with my nail polish lasting more than a couple of days.

So when I ordered from Sephora at the end of January and needed $5 to have free shipping I ended up buying this $20 kit (quadruple of the amount I needed, oops).

First of all I am really happy with the color I choose. It is Cloud Gray and it is a pale grey-beige color that looks good with everything. I mean, any nude nail color I will be in love with but this one is different than the other 185 I have, obviously. I think it looks chic on my pale hand in the winter and I'm sure it will be stunning with a tan in the summer.

I was really impressed with it as soon as I was done with the application. It was super glossy and contrary to other polish I own the shine actually lasted even after days of wear.

I applied it on a Friday afternoon and it lasted until Wednesday without any noticeable chips. Of course it's a nude and that means I can get away with it when it starts to chip because it won't be as obvious. So I had it on my nails for a total of 7 days and when I took it off half of my nails had no chip at all and were still super glossy.

Overall, I am really, really happy with it and will definitely get my hands on more of the Formula X nail polish. As if I need anymore nail polish but you know how it is.

Did you try the Sephora Formula X nail polishes? What did you think?

I'm having a hard time with my nails lately. Or to be more precises, with the longevity of my nail polish.

The ones who were lasting a while two months ago are only lasting a day or two right now. This is really annoying.

The only nail polishes that last on my nails are the Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy ones.

I had some of them, but none I was feeling like wearing. So I ended up getting two more colors this week. I also bought the top coat, thinking it would help other polish last longer.

On the bright side, these polish last a long time. Right now, about five day, but longer back when my nails where in better state.

On the downside, the top coat, to me, smells like old wet towels, that's not good. It also doesn't have an amazing color selection. The colors are nice, there are just not that much of them, compared to other the regular Revlon nail polish line.

But right now, all I care about is the longevity. I can't be bothered to reply polish every day.

What are your favorite nail polish right now? Or those that last the longest on you?

I love to wear neutrals, whether it’s in fashion, eye makeup or nail polish. A couple of days ago I took all of my nail polishes out in an effort to find a better way to store them. They initailly were stored by brand, as it was easier because the bottles were all the same shape and it was taking less place. But I realised I was only using the bottles that were in the front and that I forgot about quite a few bottles. Mainly I found I few neutral shades I haven’t worn in a while. Maybe just because it was summer, or it was actually the organization that was lacking, I don’t know.

I have really been into nude nails lately. And even if pale pink is probably not a ‘’proper’’ nude shade, it has the same effect on the nails. There is a hint of color, without being anything too noticeabale, soi t goes with everything. And when it starts to chip, it doesn’t show that much (and lets be honest, that is a big part of why I love nude nails).

This particular polish is Seashell (025) by Revlon Colorstay. And they actually really stay on longer than the average nail polish, at least on my nails.
