3 easy & healthier desserts

I am usually someone who liked salty more than sweet. I don't know what is happening in the last couple months, but I just want to eat all the cookies and donuts around! So I had to find ways to satisfy my (newly found) sweet tooth and would not have me weighting a hundred pounds more by the end of the summer.

Here are three desserts that are easy to do, ask for a maximum of 3 ingredients and are more healthy than a slice of chocolate cake.

Mango sorbet

What you need:
Frozen mangoes
water, or juice
sugar, if you feel like it

What to do:
Put everything in the blender. If it's too liquid, add more mangoes.
Then eat it fast before it melts!

Fruity truffles

What you need:
56 g of dark baking chocolate, I used 2 squares of Baker's unsweetened chocolate
111g of applesauce, I used one container of Mott's flavored applesauce
Powdered sugar to taste

What to do:
Melt the chocolate. Then mix it with the applesauce and sugar. Place it in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight. Once it's hard, take a spoonful of it and roll it in your hands and in the sugar (or in cocoa). Replace it in the fridge at least half an hour and then it's ready!

Mandiants

What you need:
Chocolate
Nuts, dried fruits and/or whatever else you want (had it once with chunks of Oreos, it was great - but not so healthy)

What to do:
Melt the chocolate. Pour it on a non-stick surface, making one or two inches circles of chocolate. Add nuts and dried fruits on top and let it set!

That's it!

Easy, right?

Please let me know if you try any of these and tweet me pictures of your creations @gendotsblog I would love to see it!
