Sears Canada Holiday Beauty Event, Haul & Giveaway!

Last week I went to Sears Canada Beauty Holiday event at my nearest Sears store. It is actually the first event I've been invited to as a blogger (I lie, it's the second one, but the first I couldn't go to as it was the middle of the day and I was working).

To go to the event you have to buy a $10 ticket and the good thing is $2 out of it goes to Look Good, Feel Better which is a charitable program dedicated to women suffering from cancer. The other $8 you can have back when you buy something at the event.

I had a good time, had my make up done, had some food and drink and obviously ended up buying some products, event if my bank account was against it.

I justified it by saying to myself that #1 I did need a pore cleansing face mask and that #2 I needed to have the full experience if I wanted to write about it. These are good reasons, right?

So I just got that Pore Refining Solution Charcoal Mask and Plum Pop lipstick by Clinique. It also came with a bag full of free stuff, which I was not against. It included that colourful make up bag and minis of the Long Last Glosswear in pink, Calix perfume, Rinse-off Eye Makeup Solvent, High Impact Mascara, Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser and Turnaround Overnight Revitalizing Moisturizer.

And the last thing I want to tell you about is probably the one that will be the most interesting for you. Sears Canada was nice enough to send me two $20 gift cards - one for me and one for you! Yay! It's actually my first giveaway and I am so exited for it!

So all you have to do to have a chance to win is leaving a comment on this blog post saying what product you would like to buy with the gift card and make sure I have a way to contact you, for obvious reasons. It is only opened to Canadians.

I will pick a winner at random and you have until November 27th to enter.

I can't wait to send it to one of you!

  1. I would probably pick up either a back up of Cliniques DDM+ or a Cheek Pop. Congrats on your first giveaway!

  3. I think I'd put it towards the Estée Lauder Double Wear powder. I have used the liquid foundation and loved it but want to see how the powder works.

  4. This is so exciting! I would probably put it towards buying an estee lauder cream for my mom. I'm not too sure what other brands Sears carries so I'd have to go in and take a peek!
